Great article; I completely agree! To build on top of #5 (It makes it easy to conditionally style components), I’d suggest that it also compromises the portability of styles; if they were exposed as CSS with predictable class names, then they could be used across a variety of websites, regardless of the JavaScript library used. Perhaps they could even be utilised on a static page!
